The road to recovery can be a long road. Once the physical sings of inflammation subside its important to continue monitoring the injury.
This image was taken three days after the mare was three-legged lame. At this time she was no longer lame but the increased thermal pattern was still present. With this additional information the owner kept the horse out of training until she had a uniform thermal pattern, to avoid additional stress to the recovering area.

We partnered up with Magnus Magnetica to do some before and after imaging of the EquiPulse and the new Hoof Pro Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field devices. Detailed Thermal Images were taken before application of Hoof Pro and images were taken post treatment as well. In the post treatment images we see an increase in the thermal pattern through out the hoof, which often correlates to an increased circulation in the hoof. Thermal Imaging is a great tool allowing us to see the un-seen changes that occurs post treatment.
