The Hard Rock Summit is almost here and we are BRINGING IT as always! Not going to spoil the surprise, but there will be signs - you will have to come see for yourself.
The show opens at 10am on Thursday, Sept 10th.
We are in the Westminster Ballroom, booth HS.310

Some have asked if we will have a wholesale booth/warehouse show and if we will have an open house during the show. The answer to both is not this year. So, come see us at the Hard Rock Summit! We look forward to seeing all who can make it.

A stunning spray of green apophyllite crystals take center stage on this specimen, forming the perfect focal point on a matrix coated in white stilbite. The elegance of this specimen is truly delightful! The apophyllite crystals are lustrous and perfectly formed, and they are flanged by a collar of stilbite crystals from behind. A classic from an iconic locality!

Saving the best for last on this 360 degree specimen. This is a wonderful, large indicolite tourmaline crystal that is enveloped partially by cleavelandite rosettes, from the infamous Dara-i-Pech pegmatite field in Afghanistan. The beautiful dark blue to vibrant sea-green color zoning of the elbaite is striking in contrast to the surrounding white blades of cleavelandite and tiny clusters of lepidolite. It is really a standout piece!

The Mawi pegmatite in Afghanistan is famous for its world-class elbaite crystals in a variety of amazing colors. This is a fantastic example featuring a gorgeous lesser-seen mint green color. A gemmy lustrous crystal in fantastic condition! Very eye-catching.

What is it about this piece that is so intriguing???
This gorgeous ring of azurite crystals from Milpillas Mine is so elegant. The crystals are well-formed, including on the back. There is one repair on this piece at the top of the specimen; it’s not easily visible. It’s really a stunning specimen from a classic locality!

This is such a beautiful thing. Look at the 360 of it. Take it in. It’s gorgeous! What an incredible specimen.

An excellent, highly aesthetic specimen of Atacamite from its type locality region, Atacama, Chile! This specimen is more specifically from the La Farola Mine and features lustrous deep green sprays in association with halloysite and possibly libethenite. Very nice for the species!

Who doesn’t love a good garnet? This small cabinet specimen of Andradite garnets is from the famous mangrove-submerged Demantoid-Topazolite skarn deposit near Antetezambato in Madagascar. This specimen is from the Spann Collection (collection # 8977) and showcases large brown topazolite variety crystals after bright green demantoid. Some of the crystals contain the range of color between the varieties. This specimen was found in September 2009 and passed through the hands of Dr. Frederico Pezzota, who brought worldwide attention to the deposit shortly after the discovery was made.
