A large flower-like spray of pyromorphite, mostly replaced by sky blue plumbogummite! With a very structural form and skeletal crystals typical of this find, this is an exceptional example from what some have called a “modern Chinese classic” locality, the Yangshuo Mine in Guangxi, China.

This color-shifting Xenotime is a rare treat! Not only is it a well-formed and good-sized xenotime on matrix from Zagi Mountain (!), it changes from a typical butterscotch yellow in daylight and LED light to a red-orange in fluorescent overhead lights! It surprised me when I was looking at it more closely before adding it to the website.
From the Spann Collection!
Comes with a custom Sunnywood base.

Measures 3.5x4.3x2.7cm
The crystal measures 1.2cm along the c-axis

This is a gorgeous 6cm tall Elbaite from the Malkhan pegmatite field in Russia! The orange and green bicoloration really make this specimen standout. The termination is marked from contact with other crystals, and there is a fibrous nature to the crystal in some areas near the color-change zone. There are nice gemmy windows that show the color and play of light nicely. It’s a beautiful crystal!

A fun little video I made last week and thought I’d share with you. We like to have fun around here when things get crazy. Who doesn’t?
Shows are really all about the people…and the rocks, despite what Graham says hahah. We appreciate you all for stopping by to see us at the show, and all of you who lived vicariously through social media.
Oh, and I think people and rocks might have tough competition for a show favorite - THE Cat! IYKYK
