Maryhill Winery

Maryhill Winery Family-owned. Award-winning. Wildly scenic. Maryhill Goldendale is where great wine and food meet Columbia Gorge magic. Come meet us at Maryhill.
(2915)

Perched above the river with Mount Hood in view, it’s the kind of place you visit once and keep talking about forever. Where good wine meets great views (and even better people). Our flagship tasting room and eatery isn’t just a stop, it’s the destination. Perched above the Columbia River with front-row views of Mount Hood, we’ve been pouring world-class wines, sharing good food, and serving up sm

all-town hospitality since 2001. Family-owned, award-stacked, and proudly unpretentious, Maryhill turns every visit into a story worth telling. Sip through 90,000+ cases worth of craftsmanship, soak in the sunsets, and see why the Columbia Gorge is one of America’s most spectacular wine regions. Named 2022 “MVP” Most Valuable Producer by Seattle Wine Awards, 2015 Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year by Wine Press Northwest, 2014 Winery of the Year by the San Francisco International Wine Competition, and 2013 Winemaker of the Year by the INDY International Wine Competition. Our favorite title, though, is the one our guests give us every weekend: their happy place.

National Cabernet Day is often celebrated with Cabernet Sauvignon, but today, we're shining a light on its equally compelling counterpart: Cabernet Franc.

Same family. Completely different conversation.

Our 2023 Cabernet Franc Proprietor's Reserve opens with fresh plums and to***co leaf, then moves into pencil shavings, plum preserves, espresso, cassis, and spiced oak, all held together by approachable tannins and fine balance.

Consider your Cabernet education officially expanded.

A little electric folk rock is joining us in the Gorge this weekend. 🎶🍷 Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter Shane Brown takes over the Goldendale Terrace Saturday and Sunday from 1–4PM, bringing his distinctive sound to an afternoon of award-winning Maryhill wines, regionally and seasonally inspired cuisine and wide-open Columbia River Gorge views. Grab a table, order lunch, discover a new favorite wine and let the afternoon unfold from there. Well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome on our dog-friendly terrace, too.

It's National Red Wine Day 🍷 Meet the Grape Nobody in Washington Talks About Enough

Tempranillo belongs to Spain the way Cabernet belongs to Bordeaux. Then Washington got hold of it.
Our 2021 Tempranillo from Art Den Hoed Vineyard at Painted Hills took Platinum at the Great Northwest Platinum Awards. 92 points. The judges agreed.

The Most Dramatic Backdrop in Washington Just Became Your Event Venue

Mount Hood on the horizon. The Columbia River Gorge below. Vine rows reaching as far as the view allows. Your guests haven't even walked in yet and the night is already unforgettable.

Three spaces. Award-winning Washington wine on every table. A culinary team that earns every compliment you collect on the way out. A staff that handles every detail so you walk in as a host and leave as a legend.

This is not a fallback option. This is the room people talk about when they're planning the next one.

Harvest 2026 is officially underway at Maryhill, marking the earliest start to harvest in our history! 🍇 Today, the first fruit of the vintage arrived: Tempranillo from Art den Hoed’s Painted Hills Vineyard. It is a milestone worth celebrating and the beginning of months of focused work in the cellar. From the growers who tend each vineyard throughout the season to our production team guiding the fruit from crush to bottle, every vintage is shaped by skilled hands, long days and a shared commitment to the wine. Here is to the people behind the harvest and all that this new vintage will become.

September is one week away. Spend it on the bluff above the Columbia River Gorge, Washington wine in hand, watching the sun go down over the vines.

There is no better way to close out summer.
