Servant's Heart Services Servant’s Heart Services was founded with compassion and purpose to support families navigating aging, dementia, and end-of-life care.

We provide in-home assessments and personalized guidance to keep your loved one safe, valued, and supported at home. With unwavering dedication, Stephanie has invested countless hours in advanced training, intensive study, and specialized certifications in elder care. Her passion and expertise are rooted in dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and end-of-life care—areas she now serves with deep compassion and purpose. Through her experience, Stephanie has witnessed the emotional weight families and caregivers carry when navigating the complexities of caring for a loved one. She has seen firsthand how a lack of support and guidance can leave families feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone. That understanding is what led to the creation of Servant’s Heart Services. At Servant’s Heart, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We work hand in hand with families to ensure every senior feels valued, respected, and truly cared for—because every life deserves dignity, purpose, and a servant’s heart. 🤍

💜 Two Tip Tuesday 💜

One of the hardest parts of dementia is understanding that memory loss isn't a choice—it's a symptom of the disease.

When your loved one forgets what you just said or asks the same question over and over, they aren't trying to be difficult. They need reassurance, not correction.

Gentle reminders, simple routines, and a calm, encouraging tone can reduce anxiety and help them feel safe and successful throughout the day.

✨ Caregiver Challenge: This week, replace frustration with one gentle reminder and one reassuring response. You may be surprised at how much calmer the moment becomes.

📌 It can also be helpful to post picture cues and simple daily reminder notes in a common area. Keep them easy to read, use large print, and focus on one message at a time. Visual reminders can provide reassurance and promote independence.

Need personalized strategies for your loved one? Servant's Heart Services is here to help you navigate dementia with confidence, compassion, and practical solutions. You don't have to do this alone. 💜

💜 Mindful Monday 💜

As a new week begins, I want to remind every caregiver of something you may have forgotten...

You don't have to carry every burden perfectly to be making a difference.

Some days you'll feel strong.
Some days you'll feel exhausted.
Some days you'll question if you're doing enough.

But every gentle touch...
Every reassuring smile...
Every moment of patience...
Every act of love...

Matters.

The person you are caring for may not remember everything you do, but they can often still feel your kindness, your calm, and your presence.

This week, give yourself the same compassion you so freely give to others.

Take a few deep breaths.
Step outside for a few moments.
Accept help when it's offered.
And remember that caring for yourself is part of caring for your loved one.

You are not alone on this journey.

💜 Two Tip Tuesday 💜

Sometimes the biggest difference in dementia care comes from the way we respond—not from what we do.

A calm environment can reduce anxiety, while simple, clear communication helps your loved one feel safe, understood, and more confident.

Small changes in your approach can lead to more peaceful days, stronger connections, and fewer moments of frustration.

✨ Caregiver Challenge: This week, choose one tip and put it into practice. Notice how your loved one responds, and share your experience in the comments—we'd love to hear what worked for you!

If you're feeling overwhelmed or need guidance, Servant's Heart Services is here to support you with compassionate care, education, and resources. You don't have to navigate this journey alone. 💜

A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way 💜

Today, as I was stopped at a red light, I noticed a man in the distance at the end of his driveway. He was using a walker and struggling to pull his trash can back toward his house.

Cars were passing by, but something in me just had to stop.
So I pulled in, got out, and helped him bring his trash can in.

He was so grateful, with tears in his eyes. I introduced myself, and he told me his name was Joe.
He invited me inside to help him with his insulin pump, and as we began talking, I learned a little more about what he was facing.
Mr. Joe, in his 80's, a US Veteran, is battling cancer, a brain tumor, diabetes, and now a broken hip.

As I listened to him, I couldn’t help but think about how many of our elderly neighbors are quietly trying to manage everyday tasks that have become incredibly difficult things that many of us don't think twice about. But many of them are doing it alone.

It was a reminder to me that sometimes we just need to notice people, check on our elderly neighbors, ask "can i help you do anything?"

It may only take 5 minutes, and I may have missed my afternoon meeting but it was worth it. Seeing someone like Mr. Joe, was being seen, being noticed, and knowing someone cared enough to stop their busy day to help him made his day. Those few moments meant something big to Mr. Joe.

If you see someone struggling, stop. Carry the groceries. Move the trash can. Hold the door. Offer your arm to help them walk safely. Or simply take a moment to smile, introduce yourself, and let them know that somebody sees them.

We hear so much about the bad in this world every single day.
Choose to be part of the good.💜

Serve one another, humbly in love. Gal. 5:13

Side note: this post is not about my good deed, its all about sharing kindness and Jesus. I have talked with his son and we are getting Mr. Joe more care.

✨ Remember When Thursday ✨

Some days feel heavier than others. If today is one of those days, this is your reminder to pause and remember.

Remember the prayers God has already answered.
Remember the strength He gave you when you thought you couldn't go on.
Remember the smiles, the laughter, and the precious moments that still live in your heart.

If you're caring for a loved one with dementia, know this: your love matters more than perfect words or perfect days. Every hug, every gentle touch, every act of patience is making a difference.

Don't let today's struggles make you forget yesterday's blessings or tomorrow's hope.

💜 Hold on to the good. Hold on to hope. God is still walking with you.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18

✨ Wednesday Wins ✨

Never underestimate the impact of the care you give each day. Your patience, compassion, and kindness may seem like small moments—but to someone else, they mean everything.

Celebrate every step forward, every smile shared, and every act of love. You're making a difference, one day at a time. 💜

✨ Remember When Thursday ✨

Some memories may fade, but love has a way of staying close. 💜

Whether it's an old photograph, a favorite song, or a familiar story, those moments can bring comfort, connection, and even a smile.

If you're caring for someone with dementia, don't underestimate the power of reminiscing. Sometimes the greatest gift you can give is simply sitting together and remembering.

💜 One memory. One smile. One moment at a time.
