Today we announce the Lucia summer release with two meaningful wines: the 2024 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir and the 2024 Susan's Hill Syrah. Both of these wines capture different aspects of our farming and sites.
Another special milestone this summer is that Garys' Vineyard celebrates thirty years since the initial planting in 1996. Very soon after harvesting the first vintages, the San Francisco Chronicle said of Gary Pisoni and Gary Franscioni: "two wild guys growing California's hottest grapes." The two Garys showed many what two passionate farmers can do when they join forces. Three decades later, Lucia by the Pisoni Family is proud to celebrate a vineyard very special to us.
Thirty years goes fast when you're having this much fun. And these two? They certainly know how to have fun.
