I came across something very weird today. I had joined a Facebook group several years ago and as of January 1st, they want to charge to post on the group page. There's something seriously wrong with this. The group itself is using Facebook for FREE. As best I can tell, it is against Facebook rules to charge to post in a group and you run the risk of your page (group) getting shut down. Why would you think this is OK? Why would I pay you when I could just as easily pay Facebook for advertising and hit the demographics that I need? Especially when you only have a little over 1,000 members/followers and there are tons of other groups with 5 and 10 times more members/followers than your group and they aren't charging.
