Sunday heads-up 👇 Your oven is about to work harder than it has all year — Thanksgiving is just over five weeks out, and Christmas is right behind it.

Two checks worth doing *now*, not the week of:

1. Run the self-clean cycle today if you use it. Ovens sometimes blow a thermal fuse during self-clean — and you don't want to discover that with a turkey thawing.
2. Hang an oven thermometer inside and preheat to 350°. If it reads 325 or 375, your recipes have been lying to you all year.
