Happy Pi Day!!

I always love celebrating pi day with pie! Pizza Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Shepard's Pie.... Oh My! And let's not forget the sweet pies - Lemon Meringue, Chocolate Creme, Strawberry Rhubarb... I can't choose! I love them all!!! 😋🩷

Once upon a time there was a young girl in middle school who was known for wearing fun earrings - like a hamburger earring in one ear and french fries in the other, cute glow in the dark aliens, bright pink tiki birds she bought with her own money at Disney World.... you have probably guessed by now that the young girl was me.

Then somewhere along the way I stopped wearing fun earrings and switched to wearing simple pearl or cubic zirconia stud earrings. Don't get me wrong, they were beautiful and elegant but there was a small part of me that missed picking out earrings that made a statement.

All that changed for me when I went to a craft fair in November. I met the lovely Maria and instantly fell in love with her earrings! I bought 3 pairs at that craft fair and then I started purchasing more and more. I quickly realized I had no where to store my new earrings. I found myself just putting them into a drawer of my nightside table. My husband overheard me talking to a friend about how I needed to find a way to organize my earrings. Next thing I knew, he surprised me with this lovely pink jewelry box. And the rest, they say, is history 🩷

The reason why I am sharing this story with you, is because it is ESSENTIAL to organize the things you love in a way that makes you excited and brings you happiness. Before the jewelry box, my earrings were tossed in a drawer all mixed together. It was a pain to find what I was looking for. However, now that they are organized, I get soooo excited each morning to pick out my earrings for the day. I love that each individual pair of earrings has it's own place to shine - it makes looking for a pair of earrings easy and fun, like shopping at my favorite store. 🥰
