The Gorham Professional Firefighters are excited to announce that we will be hiring 4 additional Firefighter/EMT-B positions bringing our department to 5 fulltime members on duty supplemented by 2 additional per diems 24/7 and 1 day per diem.

-We are a fast pace and growing department with competitive pay.
-We have monthly rotations on an engine and ambulance.

We are also looking to hire 2 additional Firefighter Paramedics.

At 01:16 on January 2nd shift 3 of the Gorham Fire Department was dispatched to a local farm stand and residence for a reported kitchen fire that went to a 3rd alarm due to frigid temperatures and well involvement of the residence. Gorham Fire responded along with several mutual aid departments. Scarborough Professional Fire Fighters Local 3894, Westbrook Professional Firefighters Standish Fire Dept, Windham Professional Fire Fighters Local 4095, Buxton Fire Dept, Raymond Fire Dept, and Falmouth Fire/EMS.
