🚒 See flashing lights? Slow down and move over!

Texas law requires drivers to move out of the lane closest to certain stopped emergency and service vehicles when it is safe to do so. If moving over isn’t possible, drivers must slow down as required by law.

A few seconds of caution could save someone’s life.

7:56pm Batallion Chief requests road barriers as water is flowing over Fortune Bend Road creating hazardous conditions.

7:51pm OPS 1 & Battalion 2 on Scene and confirmed all passengers were accounted for.

Dispatch indicated subjects are out of the vehicle and safe.

7:37 Chief 2 enroute, rescue boat from mutual aid agency requested.

Responders are enroute to a water rescue near 1500 block of Fortune Bend Rd for a vehicle swept down the creek.

UPDATE: Sacred Cross Transported 2 with non life threatening injuries.

First responders are enroute to a three vehicle crash on Highway N 281, South of FM 2270 with entrapment.

6:10pm Engine 14 on scene indicates a Single vehicle crash & Request TxDot for road damage.

5:45pm 19/15/26

Responders were called to I-20 for a possible crash near mile marker 367 involving a semi trailer and two vehicles.
