PSA: Even professional organizers have bags to donate. 😂

Just because I help others declutter doesn’t mean my own kids stop growing! My daughter’s closet was ready for a clean out, and today all of these clothes were donated to Amherst Kids Closet, where they’ll be available FREE to families in our community. 💙

Decluttering feels even better when you know it’s helping someone else. đŸ©”đŸ đŸ‘—

Garage Refresh
 Again!

Some of you may recognize this garage! This is a regular client’s garage that I previously organized.

Recently, they had construction work done, so everything had to be moved to one side of the garage to make room. As you can imagine, once the project was finished, just about everything was covered in a layer of construction dust.

I came back to reset the space—putting everything back where it belonged, incorporating a few new items, and wiping down shelves, bins, and belongings along the way.

Sometimes organizing isn’t just about making a space look nice. It’s about helping restore order after life (or construction!) turns everything upside down.

I think it turned out pretty great! 😊

My clients recently moved into a new home, which meant rethinking how everything would be stored.

This bathroom vanity had a large open shelf that could easily become cluttered. Instead of filling the entire space with containers, we kept it simple with two labeled bins to corral smaller items while leaving frequently used supplies within easy reach.

Every home is different, and the best organizing systems are the ones designed specifically for the space and the people who use it. đŸ đŸ©”

Another productive day doing what I love!

In just 3 hours, my amazing clients and I cleared out 11 bags of garbage from their basement! From old appliance boxes that had been stored for years to holiday decorations that were no longer usable, we worked together to let go of what was no longer serving them.

Every bag removed means more space, less stress, and a fresh start. This is just the beginning—we’ve created room for the next phase of organizing, and I can’t wait to help transform the space even more!

Sometimes the biggest progress starts with simply making room. 💙🏠🚼

Closet clean up!

This refresh was about more than just making it look tidy — it was about creating a system the whole family can actually maintain. I added word + picture labels so everyone knows exactly what goes where (and where to put it back!).

One of my favorite organizing tips: think about your closet like real estate 🏡If it’s in season (winter gear, swim stuff, sports items), keep it in the prime, easy-to-reach spots. If it’s off-season, move it up high or farther back until it’s needed again.

Simple systems = less daily stress 🙌

One of my favorite parts of decluttering is uncovering little pieces of history. My clients know if I find an old receipt or newspaper, I’m stopping to check the dates. I just love numbers!

Today’s find: The Chronicle-Telegram from September 1988. And wow
imagine buying a car for these prices again! 🚗💭

It’s amazing how organizing and decluttering can uncover memories, stories, and snapshots of a completely different time.

SO BIZARRE! My client tried the finger snap, and it didn’t work. But mine did! đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸ˜‚

Closet transformation for their teenage son 🙌

After trying a system that just didn’t stick, we took a step back and reworked everything to fit how he actually uses the space—and the difference is HUGE.

Before, the floor was crowded with boxes and random items, and there really wasn’t a clear “home” for anything. Now, everything has a place:‱ Clothes are hung up ‱ Legos and craft items are contained in bins‱ Memory/sentimental items are stored up top where they’re safe but out of the way‱ And best of all
 the floor is finally clear!

The goal wasn’t perfection—it was creating something he’ll actually maintain.

Proof that sometimes you have to try, fail, and adjust to find what really works đŸ’Ș
