Good Morning, June! Have you met Ryan yet?
A year ago, Ryan was dropping his daughter at school when he saw the Grand Coteau campus and checked out our website. We were hiring a Project Manager, and he was exactly what we were looking for!
“Majority of my experience is project or program-based work, and it’s often because a lot of that work is nebulous. However, this is my first foray into manufacturing. I like manufacturing because you end up producing a tangible thing and I know that sounds goofy but I spent a lot of time in hospitality and pro-sports and IT, and the deliverables did exist and there was satisfaction that came with it, but it was rare that you could actually hoist a trophy – in this case a trophy would be part to spec – so that’s actually kind of fun to kinda see where all the effort ended up and actually get to hold something. It’s cool!”
Ryan’s advice to anyone trying to transition to manufacturing like he did is to “be okay with the fact you don’t know everything… Make sure you acknowledge the abilities those that know things that you don’t.”
When our amazing project manager isn’t at the office with us, he can be found enjoying family time. “Kinda whatever my kids want to do, however they have good taste!” Thank you for making our team stronger, Ryan!
