The ND Department of Commerce certifies businesses for this designation, opening the door to programs you may already qualify for. Grand Forks broke ground on its Children's Museum Wednesday, and the EDC team was proud to be there to celebrate!

The 34,000-square-foot facility at South 42nd Street and 17th Avenue has been more than 40 years in the making. At $35 million, it is the kind of bold, community-wide investment that signals what Grand Forks is all about: building a place where families want to put down roots and stay.

Executive Director Katie Mayer called it a place "to learn, explore, and grow together," where agriculture, innovation, and creativity will be celebrated every day. Construction is underway, with completion expected in late summer or early fall 2027.

A huge congratulations to the entire team behind this project!
