Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats, and sometimes waiting on others who are doing the same.

A few weeks ago, one of our machines needed a refrigerant recharge right in the middle of a summer heatwave (remember the week we had consecutive days over 100°?). All of the licensed techs I called were booked solid with their regular customers (understandably!), and it ended up taking three weeks before someone could get to us.

Our client was incredibly gracious and patient through it all, and that kind of understanding means the world to us.

We truly wouldn’t be anything without the local businesses that welcome Good Life Vending into their buildings to serve their employees, guests, and customers. Your support keeps us going, and we’re so thankful for each and every one of you.

As many of you know, I am the owner of JobXSite, a boutique recruitment agency located in downtown Grand Island. I absolutely love being a headhunter!

In 2019, I launched Headhunter Gear, a t-shirt company. I wanted to provide fun, funny, snarky, and even naughty designs to other recruiters and headhunters. Our job is crazy! We needed a way to express ourselves. As many things do, HG morphed and through our custom designs, we have expanded beyond my silly recruiter humor.

We are now well into 2020, still challenged with a pandemic and uncertainty... but, when an entrepreneur gets and itch, she has to scratch it. That’s where Good Live Vending comes in.

It just makes sense to help employers offer healthier alternatives to the traditional breakroom snacks and beverages. This year, I heard someone say “we’ve focused so much on preventing illness, that we didn’t pay attention to wellness”. There should be a balance of both, but what he said stuck with me.
