Before treatment, take a closer look at the details of the plan. Coverage percentage, deductibles, frequency limitations, annual maximums, and other restrictions can all affect what the patient may actually owe.

Yes, there’s a learning curve.
But when a tool helps your team work more efficiently and creates a better patient experience, it may be worth the investment.

“It takes so much time.” 👀
But is it really slower?

EFTs and ERAs may feel like a big change from the familiar process of opening mail, sorting EOBs, and manually handling checks, but once the system is in place, the process can actually be more efficient.

With ERAs coming directly into your software and EOB information available within the patient record, your team can spend less time handling paper and more time managing the payment process.

There may be a learning curve, but different doesn't always mean harder. Sometimes, it means better. 💡

🦷 Have two dental insurance plans?

Having dual coverage doesn't automatically mean your dental bill will be paid twice.

When a patient has two plans, the insurers may use coordination of benefits (COB) rules to determine which plan pays first and how the secondary plan may contribute.

💡 Before treatment, make sure you understand how both plans coordinate, and what your actual patient responsibility could be.

Two plans ≠ double benefits.
