Teamwork makes the underground work! Sam breaks down how our crews stay connected on the job site.

When we run a crawler down a line, we have to track and follow it all the way from the main to the lateral and up into the yard. That means constant communication using walkie-talkies.

Sam reads back the exact depths to the team, who record it live on the laptop inside the van.

It takes precision and tight coordination between the crew in the street and the team in the van to map out underground infrastructure accurately.

Ever wonder what we actually find down there? Hint: it is absolutely not the Ninja Turtles.

We spend 50 hours a week dropping cameras into manholes and sewers, and we have yet to spot Master Splinter or a single slice of leftover pizza. What we DO find are the things you actually need to know about your underground infrastructure.

We identify blockages, structural damage, and potential utility conflicts to keep your projects running smoothly.

If you need a thorough pipeline inspection without the sci-fi surprises, our team is ready to help! Visit http://sightline-solutions.com to learn more.

Our very own Dylan has seen a lot of unforgettable things during his time inspecting sewers, but this story might just take the prize.

During a recent inspection, Dylan and the team sent a camera into a sewer lateral that ended up being capped just 10 feet in. However, that 10-foot stretch of pipe was not empty. It was home to an entire civilization of cockroaches. They covered the walls, crawled all over the camera, and got into everything. As Dylan says, it is a sight he will never forget.

While we hope your pipes are completely pest-free, the team at Sightline Solutions is always prepared for the unexpected. Our advanced camera systems are designed to find exactly what is hiding in your underground infrastructure, whether it is a severe blockage, a cracked pipe, or an unexpected colony of bugs.

Three gallons of Dawn dish soap saved us from an emergency excavation.

Liam will explain how it got to that point but it shouldn’t have worked as well as it did.

Sometimes building something great means leaving your comfort zone. Our founder, left a six-figure career in Texas to head back home to Colorado and build Sightline from the ground up.

Fast forward to today: we’re growing our team, expanding our footprint, and putting in the work every single day.

The hustle is always worth it.

The most common cause of sewer blockages, according to the EPA, is grease.

It goes down your drain warm and liquid after you cook, then cools and hardens inside the pipe. Over time it builds into a plug that chokes the line. A camera down the line shows how much is in there before it backs up into the house, and catching it early keeps the fix cheap.

A gas line can be accidentally drilled straight through your sewer pipe. It's called a cross bore, and it can go unnoticed for years.

Most people never know it's there until the drain slows down or clogs. The danger is what happens next. If someone runs a cutter down the line to clear the clog without looking first, they can rupture that gas line inside the sewer and send gas into the house. It's rare, but it's serious, and it's why a camera inspection before clearing a stubborn blockage is worth it.

Two different neighbors decided our crew were Russian spies.

When your vans are unmarked and your crew is doing work nobody recognizes, you turn into a question mark on someone's street. On residential inspection jobs, marked vehicles and a crew who can explain the work in plain terms is the difference between a quick conversation and a call to the HOA.

Watch how Liam handled it.
