We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former COO, Tim Plunk. Tim fought cancer with extraordinary courage, but through every difficult moment, his faith never wavered. He faced the outcome with great courage and a peace and grace that could only come from a deep trust in his Lord and Savior — and in doing so, he set a great example for us all.
Tim would not want this moment to pass without it pointing to something greater than himself. He believed wholeheartedly in the gospel of Jesus Christ — that there is hope, redemption, and eternal life available to all who put their trust in Him. If Tim could speak to you now, he would want you to know that same hope for yourself.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Tim's greatest legacy is the life he lived at home. He was a devoted husband to Christy and a loving, dedicated father and grandfather — a man who understood that faith and family were not just priorities, but the very foundation of a life well lived. The example he set for his family is a gift that will carry forward for generations.
His impact on Goelzer Envelope and the wider envelope industry was real and lasting — from his involvement in groups like the INg to championing designs like the Inserta-Fast envelope, always focused on improving success for mailers and the inserting community. But it was his character, his relationships, and his unwavering faith that defined him best.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Christy and the entire Plunk family. As 1 Thessalonians 4:13 reminds us, we grieve deeply but we do not grieve like those who have no hope. We are all better for having known him and grateful for his impact on our lives.
