Lance Fenderson is returning to racing after a life-changing accident. Using Origin Instruments' Sip/Puff device to control gear changes, Lance is proving that adaptive technology enables dreams that many thought impossible.

Unseen Laps: Lance Fenderson has spent his life behind the wheel, but everything changed during his junior year of high school when a tragic accident left him paralyzed from the chest down.
After stepping away from racing for five years, Lance made the decision to return to the sport he loves — setting his sights on one of motorsports’ most grueling challenges: the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Lance shares his powerful journey back to racing, the obstacles he overcame, and what it means to chase a dream many thought was impossible. You’ll also hear reactions and support from some of North Carolina’s top drivers as they reflect on Lance’s determination and resilience.

🌟 Customer Setup Spotlight 🌟

Ever struggled to find a simple, safe way to put your computer to sleep—without turning it off or unplugging your USB devices? Wojciech Kiersnowski faced this exact challenge with his HeadMouse/Breeze setup on a Mac.

The Challenge:
Putting the computer to sleep without having to unplug devices or shut everything down every time.

The Solution:
A USB power switch! By adding this between the computer and the HeadMouse/Breeze, our user can easily cut power to the devices—no unplugging required.

Here’s how it works:

At night or before a break, they:
- Click “Sleep” on the Mac.
- Move the reflective dot out of the screen area (so HeadMouse stops sending signals).
- Let the Mac go to sleep.
- Flip the USB power switch—devices turn off safely.

In the morning:
- Flip the USB switch back on.
- Turn toward the screen—Mac wakes up, ready to go!

While a second person is needed to operate the switch, this method is much safer and more convenient than unplugging cables or shutting down daily.

Ensure the full on-screen keyboard is always available with the Always On Top option in the View menu. SofType can also easily be moved from the top to the bottom (or vice versa) of the screen with one click of the Move option also found in the View menu.

Dragger freezing or not opening? The first thing you should do is Reset Dragger’s Settings. NOTE: AutoClick users will need assistance to relaunch Dragger.

The built-in Jitter Box is a configurable area around a mouse cursor to maintain stability. If the cursor stays within this parameter for a preset time, Dragger initiates a mouse click.
