What your toddler eats during the day and especially the hours leading up to bedtime can impact how they sleep. It is important to monitor what your toddler eats and stray away from caffeines, sugars, etc. We want the digestive system to start to slow as we prepare for a good nights rest. For babies under one whose primary/only nutrition is breastmilk or formula, most parents believe that the last feed of the day should be the greatest amount. However, this can cause the digestive system to disrupt night time sleep. Sundays are for self care. I, for one need sleep to function and keep all schedules on track, especially with losing an hour last night. What does self care look like for you? Let's do a Q&A on this Friday night! Ask me a question! I would love to hear your thoughts on crying! I have been seeing a lot of posts/comments on how cry it out was the worst parenting advice and/or sleep training experience. This hurts my heart because sleep training does not have to go against what you believe as a parent. Parent led approaches complement the preferred parenting style and can result in the sleep your family needs.
