My newest project an actual wooden WWII Military Locker. This could even be World War I because as World War II went on I read that these were being produced for the Arm forces in mass production and all the metal in the US was rationed.
So engineers developed and they used very hard compressed cardboard to make the lockers at the end of the war. that's how Bakelite and other plastics came to exist because our US scientists and engineers Developed ways to manufacture goods for the American public because the metal was being used for the war effort
