Today was so emotional for me🥹 One of my students, who later became my assistant in the classes I taught for four years… took over and led her own class for the very first time. I was there to support her, and I felt so proud. From being a student, to standing beside me, and now leading on her own, she’s come so far. I know she’s the right person to keep this work alive, and I can’t wait to see where she goes from here. I know Maria is going to do amazing!❤️👏🏼👏🏼

Hoy ha sido un día muy emotivo para mí. Una de mis alumnas —que más tarde se convirtió en mi asistente durante los cuatro años que impartí clases— tomó las riendas y dirigió su propia clase por primera vez. Estuve allí para apoyarla y me sentí muy orgullosa. Ha recorrido un largo camino: de alumna a compañera a mi lado y, ahora, liderando por su cuenta. Sé que ella es la persona indicada para mantener vivo este trabajo, Se que Maria es la más indicada y hará una labor extraordinaria ❤️
