🎙️ Have you ever thought about launching your own podcast but don’t know where to start? 🎙️ It's easier than you think...

For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been podcasting for years. In fact, our podcast had been our #1 way to give value and help others, establish authority in our niche, produce quality content with ease, and build lasting connections - and of course the real point of a business, to generate quality leads and get clients - all without spending anything on ads.

I'm thinking of putting together a guide on how to launch and scale your own podcast to help your business, even if you’re starting from scratch. This guide will cover everything from planning your content, getting the right equipment, to leveraging your podcast to attract clients. The strategies, the systems and the skills - everything you might possible need.

If you’d like a copy of this guide when it’s ready, just comment “me” below or drop me a DM and I’ll make sure you’re the first to get it"

How often do we all find ourselves explaining, justifying or storytelling - rather than simply holding our answer or decision as true?

Yup, us too! 🙈😂

But the next time you feel the need to explain yourself (self imposed), or if someone demands this of you (who would ever do such a thing… I’m looking at you kids😂), why not pause and consider this…

⭐️You do not need to explain yourself to anyone⭐️

(And yes, it can be really hard to do and feel super uncomfortable, but try it on for size. It might just empower you more than you know)

Cheers all, have a super weekend! 😊

A celebration and a sad day all wrapped up together… Happy birthday to my bro who never liked having Xmas Eve as his bday, as I’d usually try to do some kinda join prezzie 🤣

This is such a fun photo - just a shame that I’m the only one still here today🥲. Taken almost 20 years ago now and it’s fair to say that a lot has changed (not just my hair!)

Can’t believe he would have been 44 today, but never made it past 27. That’s too young.

Shout out to those celebrating and balancing loss at the same time this Christmas. It can be sneaky and hit you without you even realising. Now I try to lean in rather than ignore it… well, I try…! 😉

Merry Christmas all 😘🎉 Make the most of it

The big fat problem with all the great information out there…

It often creates inaction.

Why?

Because when you hear or learn something that creates an “ah-ha!” moment for you or generates a feeling of knowing or understanding, you get a hit of dopamine.

That dopamine hit creates a feeling of accomplishment - meaning just knowing the answer to your problem FEELS LIKE YOU SOLVED IT.

But you didn’t…

How often does this happen to you?

You read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a video, receive some advice, buy/take a course and at first feel AMAZING because YOU’VE FOUND THE ANSWER! You know what to do!

You just know that you’re about to solve your problem now…

You just need a bit of time…

Maybe next week or by next month you’ll do the thing…

And then six months go by and you did none of the things and have all but forgotten about that moment when you were sure you solved your problem.

Ugh.

Ok, let’s all agree that wallowing in guilt about this doesn’t help.

But doing something about it does!

Not sure WHAT to do?

Here’s ONE THING you can do next time you feel this way: JUST DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

If you tend to talk about what you plan on doing and then end up never doing it - SAY NOTHING next time (in case you didn’t know - just simply talking about accomplishing something creates the feeling of actual accomplishment thus often diminishing our drive to take action).

If you live for those moments of revelation, but never change or act on them - catch yourself in the act. Pause and ask yourself “What do I need to DO?”.

While these steps won’t move mountains, they will shake things up. Remember, it’s just a start right now.

If you want more than just a start, just comment below or send us a DM saying “I want more” and we’ll happily chat with you about that:)

Oh people, this keeps coming up in the conversations we’re having - from podcast interviews to coaching calls to just chatting with the people in our lives…

Recognizing that saying “no” is a way to say “yes” to what’s really important to us is a skill to develop and it’s at the heart eliminating people pleasing.

Hands down, people pleasing is one of the biggest downfalls of business owners who feel frustrated and overwhelmed…

And of course feeling frustrated and overwhelmed is the natural consequence of focusing on making sure everyone else is happy and forgetting about what makes you happy - or even just what your basic wants and needs are.

Thankfully, you can quickly start to change that.

Comment with “boundaries” and we’ll make sure you get added to our list to receive our three top tips for building the skill of saying “no”.
