It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Phyllis (Gutowski) May, affectionately known as PJ.

PJ was a go-getter! She was always bopping around, staying busy, and finding ways to make life fun, especially for the kids.

If you’ve been here for a while, you may remember PJ working at the front of the print shop for several years. She was the third of the seven Gutowski children and a special part of our family and Swift’s history.

September 8 would have been our founder’s 104th birthday!

Grandpa Walt loved printing, and we always love hearing the stories and memories people still have of him. Early in his career, grandpa was allergic to ink and his fingers would bleed from it. Yikes! Now that is commitment to the craft.
