Today was a special day.
I had the opportunity to spend time with a fellow Latina-owned, woman-owned business owner, Carmen Brito Reyes with RR Brush Brothers, walking through our community, visiting and connecting with local Hispanic and Latina-owned businesses. We introduced ourselves, learned about their businesses, listened to their stories, exchanged information, and most importantly, built relationships.
As small business owners, we know the heart, sacrifice, and dedication it takes to keep a dream alive. It was inspiring to meet businesses that have been serving our community for 10+ years, yet many shared that they struggle to bring in new customers. One thing I noticed was that several businesses had little to no visible signage.
Signage matters.
It tells people who you are, what you do, and where to find you. It doesnβt have to be a huge investmentβsometimes a simple sign, window graphic, banner, or storefront update can make a big difference in helping customers discover your business and your overall appearance.
Thatβs why I love what I do at Signs by Hannah. I truly care about helping businesses grow. Whether you already have an idea or need help creating one, I enjoy bringing your vision to life and designing signage that reflects who you are and what your business represents.
Today wasnβt just about signsβit was about listening, learning, encouraging, and finding ways to help other businesses overcome challenges and continue to thrive.
And how fitting that I learned today is National Latina Day. What a beautiful reminder of the strength, resilience, and impact of Latina women in business and in our communities.
If your business needs signage, rebranding, fresh ideas, or simply someone to talk through your vision with, Iβm here to help. My phone is always open, and I would love to connect.
