International Day of Yoga 2026
Loving and divine souls,

Let the choicest blessings of God and the masters be upon all of you. I take this opportunity to pray for you, and I send my best wishes on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga celebration on 21 June.

The International Day of Yoga started in 2015, so this is the 12th year. Yoga is the invaluable gift from India to all humanity. It is an art of living, a science of healthy and happy life, and a philosophy of perfection.

Yoga costs nothing and grants everything. Yoga promotes universal values that make life valuable. It requires commitment for a few minutes of daily practice and that is all. Along with practicing yoga, when we add discipline to our lives, life becomes more joyful.

In the Bhagavad Gita the Lord instructed, tasmad yogi bhava arjuna: “O Arjuna, thus you become a yogi.” Let us be worthy yogis in life and spirit. Let us be successful in every way.

On this day when the entire world is celebrating in many ways, I am praying that God will grant us and all humanity right thinking and practical lives of loving and serving others.
