For Valentine’s Day this year, we reflected on the love shared by our customers who helped create and nurture our legacy! The past few months have certainly been bittersweet (which is great for chocolate morsels, but less so when dealing with emotions). On top of everything else the past year has thrown at us all, the Presto Family has put the final touches on ending an era… The sale of the property is now final, and keys have been relinquished.

With this tangible step taken, the next phase of life awaits us… Retirement for some, new adventures for all. With sincere gratitude to our community, we look forward to what the future holds!

After 45 years of the most satisfying work experience any business owners could have wished for, it’s time for Presto Print to call it a day. And that day will be September 30, 2020.

We have decided to transfer our business files to Printing Productions Ink, a well-established, highly respected local company owned and operated by Shawn Wylie.

For those with work in progress prior to October 1, we will be available to complete your orders. We expect to complete all outstanding orders by October 18, 2020.

We are amazed at how much Presto Print has grown over these years, how many long-term customers and occasional passers-by have counted on us, how much we’ve been able to help so many fine non-profits and on and on. We can’t express how much we will miss the fine relationships and friendships we have formed with so many of you.

Thank you for a fabulous run!

Today is our third day back since re-opening. While we are getting back in the swing of things, we are dealing with an emptiness which cannot be ignored.

It is with great sadness that we share the loss of our sweet friend, Kimberly Lint, who passed away on June 6, 2020. Kim has been an invaluable asset to us for 36 years. At the young age of 20, she started with us as a typesetter, but found her niche as an expert press operator. Having learned many different skills throughout the years, she was able to jump in wherever needed and never hesitated to do so. In fact, we called her our “sprinter” as she was so quick and efficient!

She was the type of person who was always there to help – and with a smile. You couldn’t help but improve your mood just by being near her. We will take peace in remembering Kim’s positivity, creativeness, mechanical skills, helpfulness, and most of all, her friendship!

We love you, Kimmy!

Precautionary measures we continue to practice in effort to keep our customers, staff, and community safe:

* Regularly disinfecting all high-touch areas (including work stations, production equipment, and self-serve copier)

* Increasing accessibility of hand sanitizers and disinfectant to protect the safety of the community

* Providing all employees with the education of proper hygiene procedures for the safety of our customers

* Temporarily limiting operational hours (subject to change)

* Requiring guests to wear protective face coverings

* Limiting guests to 2 parties inside the shop at a time

Per Governor Whitmer's Executive Order,
Presto Print, Inc. will be closed for at least the next three weeks.
