I came across this piece that I never finished! I haven't made a work like this in a while, but now I'm feeling nostalgic! Happy Pi Day!

Many go big for ArtPrize, but I went small. Very small. This 1:24 scale miniature is called "Urban Isolation". This shell of an abandoned brick building is an abstract self portrait of sorts. A reflection of covid-life, this work investigates feeling surrounded by the everyday activities of life but disconnected from it all. Shown with some of its walls down, the viewer can see ongoing construction or a revitalization going on from within. The facade or face is adorned with an oversized billboard zoomed in on text that reads "Middle of it All". The audience peering in would seem like giants, reflecting large expectations.
