With 4-7" of snow forecasted from 3 AM till midnight, MI spring is having a good laugh today. Coincidentally, today is also National Goof Off Day so WMUS wants to wish a happy snow day/goof off day to all those kiddos home from school for the day. Now that Halloween is over, many people are looking for ways to dispose of their fading jack-o-lanterns. Did you know that pigs, chickens, and goats LOVE pumpkins? Rather than dumping them in the landfill, before they get too far gone, connect with a local farmer to see if they are willing to take them off your hands. Make sure you've removed the candle before donating them. Side note - if you've treated your pumpkins with chemicals to help them last longer, best to keep them away from any and all animals.

Join our team! WMUS is currently looking to hire Directional Drilling Operators and Laborers. Site laborer using directional drilling equipment, hand tools, and other equipment to aid in the directional boring daily operations. Must have drivers license. Travel is within the state, home every weekend and most nights. Travel local to Michigan only.

$15 - $26 an hour
Full-time + Overtime
Monday to Friday - Day Shift

In South American culture, the first or second and third day of November (different cultures celebrate different days) is a time for remembering our loved ones that are no longer with us. This celebration is called Day of the Dead. Many families incorporate brightly decorated skull shapes, lavish meals, and decadent treats into their holiday traditions. Other families simply use it as a set aside day to remember. Each family's celebration may be a bit different but take a moment today and tomorrow to remember your loved ones that are no longer on earth. Whether they passed recently or many years have passed, bring them to mind today, celebrate their life, and cherish the time you once had together. Happy Dia de los Mu***os!
