Baker Avionics is proud to now participate in a U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program through the Aircraft Electronics Association and Fastport.

This gives our developing technicians a structured pathway that combines paid, hands-on experience, technical instruction, progressive skill development and industry-recognized credentials while building a career in aircraft electronics.

The program also aligns technician development with the Aircraft Electronics Association's Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician (CAET) certification pathway.

For us, this isn't simply about filling positions.

It's about developing skilled avionics professionals, passing knowledge from experienced technicians to the next generation, and building a stronger future for our industry.

✈️ **More Cessna 310s can now upgrade to the Garmin GFC™ 600!**

Garmin has announced new FAA STC approvals for GFC 600 autopilot installations in select **Cessna 310P, 310Q and 310R models**, including their turbocharged variants.

For eligible Cessna 310 owners, this opens the door to Garmin's modern digital autopilot technology—and the new approval also includes support for **Smart Rudder Bias** when equipped with the required Garmin components.

🚁 Keeping mission-critical aircraft flying.

Today we welcomed a drop-in helicopter supporting Weyerhaeuser forestry operations for a remote sensor module exchange.

These aircraft play an important role in wildfire reconnaissance, forestry management, and supporting crews who help protect our forests. Understanding the importance of their mission, our team adjusted our schedule to fit them in and minimize downtime.

At Baker Avionics, we know that every hour an aircraft is on the ground can impact operations. Whether it's scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, AOG support, or an unexpected avionics issue, we're committed to helping operators get safely back in the air as efficiently as possible.
