From all of us at Double J Electric, we want to wish our local students, teachers, school staff, and parents a safe and successful school year!

A quick reminder for all of us behind the wheel: slow down in school zones, keep an eye out for kids at crosswalks, and give those school buses plenty of room. A few extra seconds can make all the difference.

When it comes to electrical work, the cheapest price isn't always the best value.

We understand that everyone wants to save money. We do too. But when you're comparing estimates, it's important to ask *why* one bid is significantly lower than another.

A lower price may mean:
⚡ Lower-quality materials
⚡ Less experienced labor
⚡ Shortcuts that can lead to future repairs
⚡ Limited or no warranty
⚡ Items left out that become costly change orders later

The truth is, a properly installed electrical system should provide years of safe, reliable service. Choosing a contractor based on value, experience, communication, and reputation can save you far more in the long run than simply choosing the lowest number.

At Double J Electric, we believe in doing the job right the first time. Our goal isn't to be the cheapest—it's to provide quality workmanship, honest pricing, and service you can count on long after the project is complete.

Have you ever chosen the lowest bid and regretted it? We'd love to hear your experience in the comments.
