Pests don’t really care what time of year it is. They just change the game.
Here in the Rogue Valley, every season brings something different.
🐜 Ants find food, water and ways into the house.
🕷️ Spiders show up in garages, crawlspaces, wood piles and those corners nobody has touched since 2019.
🐝 Yellowjackets are especially active right now. Late summer and early fall is when colonies can be at their biggest.
🐀 Rats and mice don’t need winter to become a problem either. Chicken feed, pet food, bird seed, gardens, fruit trees and outbuildings can give them everything they need year-round.
And then there are termites. Usually you don’t notice those until they’ve already been working.
That’s part of living in Southern Oregon. We have woods, farms, creeks, older homes, crawlspaces, sheds and plenty of places for pests to make themselves comfortable.
The trick isn’t spraying whatever bug you happen to see.
It’s figuring out what it is, where it’s coming from and why it’s there.
That’s what we do.
