Haven’t used a Columnar pad since Excel (put Lotus out of Biz I think 😆) - but hey, there is something to be said about ‘old school’; knowing what the numbers mean and where they originate will absolutely help you get your bookkeeping (and taxes) done correctly in 1/2 the time! Quickbooks Online Payroll app will not allow you to post a payroll check in a previous period!

If you are reading this, just letting ya know QBO was designed that way….It can matter if there is a data entry error processing direct deposits.
