I’ll never forget the funeral I attended a couple years ago.

It was a celebration of my friend’s life. She was a brilliant, well-respected chiropractor.

But no one talked about how she healed their bodies. Everyone talked about how she made them feel while doing it.

That moment shifted how I think about purpose and contribution.

And then I came across Caroline Leaf’s words:

💫“Your purpose is not what you do. It is the thing that happens in others when you do what you do.”💫

It’s so easy to tie purpose to your title, your tasks, your to-do list.

But real purpose?
It’s the impact you leave behind—the shift that happens in others because of how you show up.

Your strengths play a big part in the imprint you leave on others:
💥 Spark energy
👀 Help others see what’s possible
🤝 Build trust + connection
⚡️ Turn ideas into real progress

So what, you say?

Post-session thoughts after working with an incredible software team.

They’re experts at fixing bugs...
so I flipped the script on them:

Our strengths? Not a bug to fix. They’re built-in features, the way we’re wired to succeed.

Once we see them that way, everything shifts:
✅ We stop trying to “fix” ourselves
✅ We start leaning into what we do best
✅ We realize… we don’t have to be good at everything 🙌

That’s why I developed Team Recalibration as the first step in my client programs.

It helps the team get on the same page, zero in on strengths, and calibrate from good ➡️ great for better results.

This kind of work is my favorite upgrade. ✨

I’m still smiling at the leadership lesson my 3-year old coworker (aka granddaughter) taught me last week.

💫Confidence grows with action…and sometimes, a little help from a teammate. 💫

On Monday, I heard her say: “This is so hard.” (…insert exasperated voice that would make any Disney princess proud).

3 days later: “We did it!”

So we celebrated the hard first steps, the messy middles, and the sweet wins with pink popsicles.

This is your reminder today - notice when you shift from struggle to strong because your confidence depends on it.
