Last winter we shared that the The University of Akron SAE team was coming to the Autometrix demo room in North Canton, Ohio to cut carbon fiber plies on our machine. Here's how it turned out. The car performed well this season, and the team invited us for a test drive. Thanks to the students and faculty for having us. It's good to see those plies, and our logo, on the car!

Last week, Autometrix participated in the 3rd Annual Youth Trades Tour, an initiative that connects high school students with real opportunities in local trades and skilled professions - especially those exploring paths beyond the traditional college route.

We welcomed groups from Bear River High School and Nevada Union High School to our facility for focused tours and interactive demonstrations. It was genuinely rewarding to share how the tools we create help businesses maximize resources, minimize waste, and increase accuracy. Programs like this build the next generation of the local workforce, and we’re grateful to be part of it.

We’re proud to spotlight one of our valued customers, Jack's Plastic Welding, for their important contribution to NASA’s Artemis II mission. Using Autometrix, Inc cutting solutions, JPW fabricated the rescue raft (front porch) and stabilization collar for the Orion spacecraft Integrity - components clearly visible in the splashdown and recovery photos.
