What happens when renewable energy meets more than a century of local history?
We’re looking back at one of our favorite projects: The Miner’s Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City.
From its early history with hydropower and the Pelton Wheel to a solar system designed to offset approximately 95% of its electricity use, this project is a powerful example of renewable energy supporting local history, culture, and community.
Here’s to preserving the places that tell our stories and helping power them into the future.
