Wow! Our National Cohort is rocking it! So many committed and amazing professionals who are taking their schools to the next level by guiding collaborative improvement. Going national has provided an amazing perspective for all of us, as we learn from each other. The social learning is a powerful force that lets us claim the collective power of our expertise.
We agree that "School Improvement" should not be a negative, compliance-driven, blame-placing experience. Using the right proven processes and tools, guiding school improvement is a practice for reinvention, positive change, and addressing the factors that impede success. We get this!!
"School Improvement" for what? "Graduation" for what? What do we need and want to achieve for our students, educators, schools, communities, employers, and local economies? Why are we committed to it? Asking these questions is part of reimagining school improvement as a focus on a better future not fixing.
