🏁 TOUGH BREAK AT PRP 🏁

We made the trip to Portsmouth Raceway Park ready to get after it! We unloaded the Rocket Chassis excited to try out some new things we’ve installed and worked on over the last couple of weeks.

During hot laps/qualifying, we made our first lap and clocked in at a 16.514.

On our second lap, the car felt GREAT and we were really excited about what we were feeling… but unfortunately, the engine had other plans. 💔

The engine let go and broke a rod, bringing our night to an early end.

Definitely not how we wanted our trip to PRP to go, especially when the car was showing so much promise. That’s racing sometimes. We’ll get it back to the shop, figure out our next move, and come back ready to fight another day. 💪🏁

After a few weeks of repairs we are excited to hit the track once again.

We are headed to Portsmouth Raceway Park for tomorrow nights event. We are excited to see what this rocket can do. We made a few upgrades since the last time we hit the track and hopefully it takes us to the front.

Unfortunately, we have some bad news. We will not be able to make it this weekend to Portsmouth Raceway Park this weekend.

We discovered earlier this week an issue with the motor and we attempted to fix it and found other issues that are not allowing us to race this weekend.

We apologize to our fans, crew and sponsors. We will get back at it very soon after we fix the issue.
