I'm here to help ease the process of letting go and to walk beside you on this journey to take back your life by taking back your space! My name is Josie Hickey and I am a mother, sister, friend, lover of all living things, peacekeeper, artist, empath, and (the reason you are reading this) professional organizer. As I continue to grow both spiritually and professionally this list will continue to
expand. All of these identities are important to me for they all contribute to who I am and what I offer to the world and those around me. Ever since I can remember I have felt the desire to adjust the world around me, inviting a more natural flow of energy. As a young child this consisted of picking up a friend's bedroom or playroom anytime I was invited over for a playdate or sleepover. My mind could not focus on creating an imaginary world until the physical space I was in had a positive flow of energy. The moment I see a space for the first time my brain is putting things in proper zones and eliminating the things that take up unnecessary space. For years I was teased for having OCD tendencies and believed I was just plain weird. In high school and college I would offer to help organize an instructor's classroom. Anytime I was hired somewhere I would organize the closets, drawers, storage spaces, and anything else I saw that could use some organization. When everything has its own place it's easier to find items as you need them rather than having to take up precious time searching through piles of clutter and I’m sure we can all agree that an organized space just looks better. Over the years I finally came to understand that my desire to organize a space was one of my great talents. Not only did organizing clear my mind and help me focus but it also provided me with the gift of helping those around me find that same clarity. With this new acceptance of my talent I decided to start my own business doing just that, helping others find their inspiration and peace beneath the piles of clutter taking up their personal space. When we allow items to overcrowd our physical space we invite anxiety, depression, and debilitating thought patterns into our mental space. Organizing and decluttering our physical world helps remove mental clutter, inviting clarity and peace back into our lives and giving us the energy needed to get through our busy days. Tidy Spaces offers organizing and decluttering services that can help make life a little easier for you. Decluttering consists of me assisting you with purging items in your space you no longer have a use for or simply finding them a better placement. Organizing consists of finding just the right spot for those items in your home that never seem to fit anywhere. I can assist in cleaning out and organizing closets, drawers, cupboards, any space you need help with along with revamping those "collect all" rooms that seem to collect all of the misfit items in your home. If you are ready to get organized and take back your life, send me a message today. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to learn a bit about me and the services I offer!
