Montana Rural Water Systems Inc MRWS is a non-profit organization providing training and assistance to water and wastewater systems Montana Rural Water Systems, Inc.

is a non-profit association of Rural Water Districts, Homeowner’s Associations, Cities & Towns, Mobile Home Parks, Schools and Campgrounds throughout the state. We offer training and technical assistance to small Water & Wastewater systems throughout our state. We have a Training Specialist who sets up training workshops and provides technical assistance. The Water Circuit Riders, along with the W

astewater Technician, travel around the state providing information and technical assistance to those responsible for proper maintenance and operation of their systems. The Source Water Specialist provides help and assistance in developing “Source Water Protection Plans” for communities. Our workshops are set up based on the needs of the systems and include training on various system maintenance, operational procedures, and rules & regulations to help systems to maintain compliance.

Another successful operator training in the books in West Glacier!

It was great bringing together operators from Glacier Park and small systems for hands-on learning and discussion on water system operations. Topics included water chemistry, valves, sampling and monitoring, pump troubleshooting, water audits, and backflow basics.

Thankful for the dedicated operators who continue to learn, grow, and work hard to provide safe, reliable water service across Montana.
