AUSTIN BLISS - Great Falls

Austin Bliss was hired September 3, 2019, and celebrates SEVEN YEARS this month! Austin works out of Great Falls in our office focused primarily on accounting work. He is responsible for putting together our financials that are reviewed monthly. The accuracy and detail are critical in this role and Austin is very detail oriented. Austin has also taken it upon himself to learn as much as he can about AI and is self-taught in writing programs that have helped our company with regard to operating efficiencies. Technology is a big part of what we do as we are always looking for better, faster, more efficient ways to perform functions. Austin has been a big part of this transformation and displays our core value of WE DEVELOP OUR PEOPLE in all that he does. John Osswald was hired September 2, 2025, and celebrates ONE YEAR this month! John works out of Great Falls and runs our marketing and social media department. John has years of experience in marketing and has been drinking from a fire hose from day one! He was immediately given the task of overseeing our significant website overhaul and relaunch, which has proven much more daunting than I am guessing it sounded when he accepted the job! John and team did an amazing job here and turned out an excellent product. John is a professional and is doing a great job keeping our name out in the "digital world" along with all the traditional marketing we seem to be constantly doing. He has learned a great deal in a very short period of time, and I think he'd be the first to say, "I had no idea you guys did so much stuff!" Thank you John for your positive energy and always displaying our core value of WE DO WHAT IT TAKES in all that you do!

Tyler Stenson was hired August 31, 2020 and celebrates SIX YEARS this month! Tyler works out of our Billings branch and has really grown with the company. He started out in sales and delivery, excelling in that role. A few years ago, Tyler moved into inside sales where he continued to thrive. His strong relationships with customers and his ability to build repour, further moved him into also doing some outside sales a couple days a week where he has continued to excel. Tyler demonstrates our core value of WE VALUE RELATIONSHIPS in everything he does.

🏆 Open House Winner's Circle keeps delivering, and our Bozeman branch had the honor of presenting this one.
Brian Bjorndal, Maintenance Supervisor at Magris Talc, is the proud winner of a Fronius TransSteel 2700 Compact, a professional-grade multiprocess welder capable of MIG/MAG, TIG, and electrode welding all in one machine. Gendco Bozeman salesman Charley Blomquist was on hand to make the presentation.
The TransSteel 2700 is ready to weld in three steps, built for the kind of versatility that handles whatever comes next. Brian plans to put it to work on home projects, repairs, and a few jobs for friends and family along the way. A machine like this will not have any trouble keeping up.

✨ Vendor Spotlight: Flexovit
Mike Page from Flexovit brought the goods to the Open House floor, and Montana fabricators took notice.
Mike demonstrated two standout products from the Flexovit lineup. First, the Alushark, an abrasive disc engineered specifically for aluminum. Clean cuts, no loading, and a finish that respects the material. For any shop working aluminum regularly, this one is worth knowing about.

Terri Newman was hired August 25,1986 and celebrates FORTY YEARS this month! This is an incredible accomplishment and is in rare company as one of the few employees who have worked for three generations of the Bliss family! Terri works out of our Great Falls corporate office as our credit manager. She is amazing at her work, is a great teammate and is as loyal as they come. Terri has seen a lot in her forty years with Gendco and is an invaluable resource and asset. We cannot say "thank you" enough for all that you do Terri and for displaying our core value of WE VALUE RELATIONSHIPS in all that you do. We are lucky to have had you for so long and appreciate everything that you do! What an incredible accomplishment!

No outlet? No problem.
Fronius rep Tanner Skalla joined us at our Open House to demonstrate the Fronius Ignis Battery, a fully battery-powered stick and TIG welder that goes wherever the work is. No generator, no extension cord, no compromises on arc quality.
At just 12 kg, the Ignis runs up to 31 electrodes on a single charge and delivers 30 minutes of continuous TIG output at 100A. When power is available it runs in hybrid or mains mode and recharges in 60 minutes. When it's not, you're still welding.

🏆 Open House Winner's Circle rolls on, and our Butte branch has another great one.
