Le braille n'est pas seulement un outil de lecture. C'est un outil d'orientation : lire la signalisation d'un immeuble, déchiffrer les boutons d'un ascenseur, interpréter une carte tactile.
Une étude récente de l' Université de Montréal révèle que 84 % des spécialistes en orientation et mobilité utilisent rarement ou jamais le braille dans leur pratique avec des adultes alors même qu'ils en reconnaissent la valeur.
En tant que leader mondial des technologies pour personnes aveugles ou ayant une basse vision, ces constats résonnent chez HumanWare.
