4 Reasons You Won't Want to Miss the MAB Open House:
We are opening our doors and inviting the community to celebrate a massive milestone with us! For nearly 80 years, the Montana Association for the Blind has been changing lives through our Summer Orientation Program (SOP).
Whether you are a long-time supporter, a prospective student, or just curious about what we do, we would love to show you what the SOP is all about.
• When: June 27, 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Where: The Ursuline Center
Here are four reasons to mark your calendar and join us:
1. Celebrate Nearly 80 Years of Impact
Not many programs can say they have been running for almost eight decades. The SOP has a rich history of empowering blind and low-vision Montanans. Come celebrate the legacy, the stories, and the incredible growth of this program over the years.
2. See the Summer Orientation Program in Action
Have you ever wondered what exactly happens at the SOP? This is your chance to find out. We’ll be showcasing the hands-on skills, technology training, and daily living techniques our students learn to build confidence and navigate the world independently.
3. Connect with an Amazing Community
The best part of the MAB is the people. The open house is a fantastic opportunity to meet our dedicated instructors, chat with current students, and connect with alumni who have been through the program. It’s a great afternoon of networking, sharing stories, and building community.
4. Explore the Historic Ursuline Center
Our program is hosted at the beautiful Ursuline Center. While you are learning about the SOP, you'll also get to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of this historic local landmark.
We can’t wait to see you there!**
