Last summer, I had the privilege of photographing Bob Soulliere's Wim Hof Method workshop in Alexandria for Northern Virginia Magazine. During the session, participants spend several hours learning about the Wim Hof method and then they get to apply what they've learned by dunking into an ice bath for 3 minutes at a time. If you're interested in taking the ice bath plunge, the next workshop is coming up on March 5th. Check out the article and Breathe Your Power for more info! In the meantime, since it's winter and temperatures are frigid, you can start practicing cold therapy simply by walking out the front door!

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, Historic Leesburg is such an amazing spot for browsing shops and getting a nice coffee or meal. While there, be sure to visit Wldwst, the interior design studio and lifestyle boutique owned by Lori Tran and Colleen West. I especially love that they carry handcrafted products from local businesses like Wild Roots Apothecary, Naked Goat Soap Co. and Na Nin. Elyse Smith, owner of Leesburg's Muz & Rose, was featured in the June issue of Northern Virginia Magazine. I love that the theme of the shop is sustainability and I really enjoyed photographing the beautiful locally made artwork and eco-conscious products on display in the shop.
