For 16 years, the Green Bay Packers' First Downs for Trees program has turned achievements on the field into lasting environmental impact across Brown County.

As the program's corporate partner, Green Bay Packaging is proud to support the donation of 394 trees to 16 local communities this year. Over their lifetime, these trees are projected to deliver approximately $1.8 million in environmental and community benefits, including cleaner air, carbon reduction, reduced stormwater runoff, energy savings, and increased property values.

Since 2011, the program has resulted in the planting of nearly 8,000 trees, generating an estimated $36 million in lifetime benefits and creating a lasting legacy for generations to come.

At Green Bay Packaging, we believe every drop counts. In June 2026, our Arkansas Kraft Division saved 19.7 million gallons of water usage from Lake Brewer through ongoing conservation efforts and process improvements.

A big thank you to our Green Bay Packaging employees for supporting tornado relief efforts across the Fox Valley area.

Through your generosity, we collected food, household essentials, and other much-needed supplies for families affected by the recent storms. Special recognition goes to the team members who organized the donation drive and personally delivered the items, helping ensure support reached those who needed it most.

Investing in the next generation of leaders!

Recently, interns from Green Bay Packaging's Arkansas Kraft Division and Fiber Resource Division, along with two interns from SMC Packaging in Springfield, participated in an incredible professional development experience at TeamTrek in Arkansas.

Through a variety of team-building challenges, leadership activities, and outdoor experiences, the interns strengthened their communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while building meaningful connections across our organizations.

Experiences like these help prepare future professionals by fostering confidence, teamwork, and personal growth in an engaging, hands-on environment. We're proud to invest in opportunities that encourage our interns to step outside their comfort zones, develop leadership skills, and gain valuable perspectives that will benefit them throughout their careers.
