Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will supervise and manage assigned industrial cleaning and painting project responsibilities, including estimating and bid development, maintaining established safety and quality principles, practices and procedures. In this role, the Project Manager will oversee the ex*****on of assigned field projects, manage relationships with the client and vendors, and work with management to resolve issues around contract deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Create estimates and take ownership with diligent client
follow-up and follow-through.
• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions for Project Ex*****on.
• Build and foster a performance culture with crews to maximize
productivity and profitability.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Show strong priority and time management behaviors.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with the customer to facilitate project
scope activities.
• Must be willing to travel on an irregular basis, as needed.
• Attend all project-related customer meetings.
Qualifications
• A degree in a related field would add value.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a supervisory/project
management role.
• Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background
check.
• Operating knowledge of various types of ancillary equipment, i.e.,
lifts, vacuums, dry ice blasting, pressure washers.
• Comply will all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws,
customer and Recoveron policies.
• Ensure all team members comply with all applicable OSAH, EPA,
local regulatory laws, customer and Recoveron policies.
• Able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to
maximize employee performance.
• Thoroughly understands project management practices,
processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
• Able to use reason and logic, ability to plan, direct and control an
entire activity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to respect and adhere to strict deadlines.
• Must be able to collaborate with team members and operate
effectively on all levels within the organization.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
• Most work is in the office or traveling in a company vehicle.
• Work will also consist inside of industrial facilities with some
outside work.
• Physical ability to access job sites, including climbing, crawling,
bending, pulling, lifting, or other body movements necessary to
inspect the job site, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Physical ability to lift 60 lbs.
