🎉 Happy 1-Year Work Anniversary, Samm! 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s only been one year since Samm joined the team. From day one, he has been willing to step up, take on new challenges, and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him a valuable part of our organization.

The way Samm has integrated into the team has been seamless, it honestly feels like he’s been with us for years. We are grateful for everything he brings to the workplace each day and appreciate his dedication and commitment to getting the job done right.

Band-Aid repairs? We’ve seen worse… but this one was pretty literal.

While out and about over the weekend, we came across this actual band-aid repair on a fiberglass golf cart.

We had to laugh — but it also made a pretty good point.

Fiberglass is an incredible material. It’s strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and built to last. But when it gets damaged, a quick patch or temporary fix usually only buys a little time. Eventually, that crack, chip, leak, or weak spot is going to come back.

At Fiberglass Solutions, we don’t do band-aid repairs.

We properly assess the damage, prep the area, and make repairs that are built to hold up in real-world environments. It doesn't matter if it's a golf cart, a tank, piping, ductwork, or industrial equipment.

Because sometimes a band-aid is funny.

But on fiberglass? It’s usually not the solution.

We love Cheese! 🧀 This brine tank project was a fun one.

Three brine tanks in total - one double-stacked system alongside a single standalone system - all built for the same facility, all shipping at the same time, and all designed for installation with minimal downtime.

Projects like this take a lot of coordination between engineering, fabrication, logistics, and the customer’s installation schedule. Our team did an incredible job making sure everything came together smoothly from start to finish.

One of the things we enjoy most is finding ways to help customers reduce downtime and simplify installation in the field. Careful planning upfront makes a huge difference once equipment starts arriving onsite.

Great work by the entire Fiberglass Solutions LLC team on this one.

Today we’re celebrating the OG - Jaime! 🎉

For 8 years with us and more with the previous owners, Jaime has been a huge part of what makes Fiberglass Solutions successful. From day one, he’s brought an unmatched work ethic, reliability, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done right. He’s the kind of person you always want on a jobsite because you know the work will get done safely, efficiently, and with pride.

Outside of work, one thing is for sure… you definitely don’t want to challenge Jaime when he’s throwing an ax! 🪓

“Some naive idiots.”

That’s the text Amy sent me this morning along with an old picture from 8 years ago. May 3rd, 2018 was the day we signed the papers to purchase Fiberglass Solutions.

Maybe “idiots” is a little harsh… but naive? That part was definitely spot on.

Eight years ago, we stepped into Fiberglass Solutions with a lot of belief, a lot of energy… and not nearly enough understanding of what we were getting ourselves into.

And honestly, that might have been one of our biggest advantages.

I often tell people sometimes its good to be a bit naive. If you knew everything that was headed your way, you may not have made the choice that changed your lives for the better.

If we knew what we know now about business, there's a good chance we wouldn't have pulled the trigger to buy Fiberglass Solutions......

What started as a leap has turned into something we’re incredibly proud of, built alongside an amazing team that shows up every day ready to solve problems, take care of customers, and live out our values.

Eight years later, we’re still learning. Still growing. Still saying “yes” and still figuring things out. Those trees don't exist anymore. That sign is long gone. We've moved to a new facility and things look a heck of a lot different now than they did then.

Maybe a little less naive… but hopefully never losing that mindset completely.

Here’s to the people who were there at the start, the team that’s here today, and everything still ahead. Cheers!

“Yes, we can.”

It’s one of our core values at Fiberglass Solutions, but values only matter if you actually live them.

Yesterday, a customer called needing us onsite early next week. Normally, no problem. But this time? Every member of our traveling crew was already committed to two large road jobs.

The initial response: “I don’t think we can make it work.”

Fair answer… but not the one we’re built on.

So I asked the question: Is there any way we can make it happen?

Our team went to work reworking schedules, coordinating resources, finding a path forward.

And they made it happen.

That’s what “Yes We Can” really looks like. Not easy. Not convenient. But committed.

Proud of a team that doesn’t stop at the first obstacle. 👏

There’s something special about bringing your child into the office and letting them see what you do firsthand as a business owner.

Our kids overhear our conversations, see how decisions get made, and even got a crash course in the not-so-glamorous side of running a business… like expense reports.

Let’s just say the verdict is in: expense reports suck. 😅

But in all seriousness, moments like this matter. Giving the next generation a real look behind the scenes, the challenges, the responsibilities, and yes, even the tedious tasks helps them understand what it truly takes to run a business.

Not every lesson is exciting, but every lesson is valuable.

Celebrating 4 years of Mackenzie today! 🎉

If you know Mackenzie, you know she brings a combo of positive energy and “let’s get s*** done” attitude every single day.

She’s not just showing up, she’s living one of our values and is owning it. She has truly owned the production area of one of our biggest customers where she’s become someone we can always count on to step up and deliver.

Bubbly, driven, and always getting s*** done, Mackenzie, we appreciate you more than you know.

Ever get told you need to replace something… when you really don’t? (that never happens at the car dealership..... 🙃)

We had a customer call us recently thinking their tank was at the end of its life. It was looking rough, had developed a small leak, and the assumption was pretty straightforward:

“Time for a new one.”

Before jumping there, we asked a few questions.
What’s it storing?
What’s the condition of the structure itself?
Where exactly is the leak coming from?

After digging in a bit, it became pretty clear that we could refurbish the tank and avoid replacement.
We shipped the tank to our facility that same week. From there, we:
✔️ Relined the interior
✔️ Repaired the damaged areas
✔️ Applied new gel coat

And just like that, it was back to looking (and performing) like new - without the cost of replacement and more importantly, the downtime associated with replacement.

Sometimes the best solution isn’t starting over… it’s knowing how to bring something back to life.

That’s where experience makes all the difference.
