Last week, we celebrated Carl’s 6-year work anniversary! 🎉

It’s crazy to think it’s already been six years because we remember Carl’s interview like it was yesterday! From day one, Carl or Carlos as he is most commonly referred to in the shop, has been someone who is always up for the challenges that come with traveling for our job and he does it all with a smile on his face. 😊 As we write this post, it's only fitting that he is currently out of state servicing one of our customers.

Carl, thank you for your hard work, positive attitude, and everything you do for our team and our customers. We’re lucky to have you!

Last week was Mike’s one-year work anniversary! 🎉

It’s hard to believe Mike has only been part of our team for a year because he’s fit in so seamlessly. From day one, he has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience from his many years in the industry, making an immediate impact on our team.

His expertise has given us the confidence to take on larger and more complex challenges that would have been much greater risks in the past. Mike’s dedication, professionalism, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him an invaluable part of our success.

Thank you, Mike, for an outstanding first year. We’re excited to see what year two has in store and look forward to many more years of working together! And sorry for the social media post, we all know you don’t like to be in the spotlight. 🤪

I always enjoy digging through old files and company history.

Did you know that Fiberglass Solutions' roots go all the way back to some of the earliest fiberglass brine systems used in cheese production?
Not only were we among the first to build fiberglass brine systems for the cheese industry, but our predecessor, Norm Johnson, actually patented fiberglass brine system designs. At a time when stainless steel was considered the standard, he recognized the advantages fiberglass could bring to corrosive food-processing environments and helped pioneer an entirely new approach.

It's pretty incredible to look back at the innovation that was happening decades ago and realize that many of those same concepts are still being used today. The materials, equipment, and processes have evolved, but the goal remains the same: build reliable systems that last.

We're proud to carry on that legacy of innovation and continue serving the cheese industry with fiberglass solutions designed to perform for decades.

Sometimes the best way to move forward is to take a moment and appreciate where you came from.

There is a difference in quality. And there is a difference in price.

A customer recently showed us a fiberglass product and insisted, "This is fiberglass."

Technically? Yes.
But not all fiberglass is created equal.

The product on the right was built to be inexpensive. Ours was built to last. When we explained why our solution cost more, we weren't willing to compromise or cut corners just to match a lower price.

Done correctly, fiberglass should provide decades of service—not just a few years. It should maintain its strength, appearance, and performance for 20+ years under most applications.

Sometimes the cheapest option is the most expensive one in the long run.
You get what you pay for.

🎉 Happy 1-Year Work Anniversary, Samm! 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s only been one year since Samm joined the team. From day one, he has been willing to step up, take on new challenges, and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed. His positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him a valuable part of our organization.

The way Samm has integrated into the team has been seamless, it honestly feels like he’s been with us for years. We are grateful for everything he brings to the workplace each day and appreciate his dedication and commitment to getting the job done right.

Band-Aid repairs? We’ve seen worse… but this one was pretty literal.

While out and about over the weekend, we came across this actual band-aid repair on a fiberglass golf cart.

We had to laugh — but it also made a pretty good point.

Fiberglass is an incredible material. It’s strong, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and built to last. But when it gets damaged, a quick patch or temporary fix usually only buys a little time. Eventually, that crack, chip, leak, or weak spot is going to come back.

At Fiberglass Solutions, we don’t do band-aid repairs.

We properly assess the damage, prep the area, and make repairs that are built to hold up in real-world environments. It doesn't matter if it's a golf cart, a tank, piping, ductwork, or industrial equipment.

Because sometimes a band-aid is funny.

But on fiberglass? It’s usually not the solution.

We love Cheese! 🧀 This brine tank project was a fun one.

Three brine tanks in total - one double-stacked system alongside a single standalone system - all built for the same facility, all shipping at the same time, and all designed for installation with minimal downtime.

Projects like this take a lot of coordination between engineering, fabrication, logistics, and the customer’s installation schedule. Our team did an incredible job making sure everything came together smoothly from start to finish.

One of the things we enjoy most is finding ways to help customers reduce downtime and simplify installation in the field. Careful planning upfront makes a huge difference once equipment starts arriving onsite.

Great work by the entire Fiberglass Solutions LLC team on this one.
