We collaborated with Appleton's Hop Yard Ale Works, a craft brewery known for its small-batch ales and wood-fired pizza, to create a striking line of labels that capture the unique personality of their beers. With playful names like Driving Miss Hazy, Riwaka-Waka-Waka, Call Me Hazy, Orange County Hefe, and Flight of the Nectaron, the labels demanded equally engaging designs. We delivered with vibrant, full-color artwork enhanced by specialty print finishes, including soft touch, high gloss, metallic accents, and tactile elements that add a dimensional, touchable quality to each label. My client just received the labels I designed and stuck it on one of the cans they had to see how it would look. They sent a video and email "Hey Addie! Just got the first label! It is so so so cool!! … Thank you - thank you for all your work on making this come to life for us!"

These labels have a custom die cut, soft touch (matte) finish with spot gloss varnish, metallic, and tactile (clear raised) areas, and will go on a flat black can. It was a technical feat to design, but I'm so excited! We'll be sending five more designs to the printer next week!
