EDC Warren County is proud to lead the launch of a $1.996 million award from New York State’s ConnectALL Connectivity Innovations Program—a major investment in flexible mobile broadband infrastructure for Glens Falls, Lake George, and Warren County.
This project is about more than closing digital gaps, it’s a strategic pilot demonstration project designed to demonstrate how next-generation CBRS and Wi-Fi technology can meet peak seasonal demands, support public safety, and enhance the visitor experience in high-traffic tourism hubs.
EDC is proud to be working collaboratively alongside:

◾ City of Glens Falls
◾ Village of Lake George
◾ Hudson Valley Wireless (technical partner & network lead)

These deployments are designed as a replicable model, one that can be scaled across Warren County, the North Country, and communities across New York State seeking modern, resilient broadband solutions.

Hudson Valley Wireless, a regional leader in broadband innovation, is bringing its expertise to the project, working alongside a team of expert consultants and subcontractors to design and deploy secure, high-capacity networks. By leveraging CBRS, Wi-Fi, and municipal infrastructure, they are addressing real-world connectivity gaps with scalable, reliable wireless coverage.

NYSEG has completed the installation of the power for our site in Hebron, NY. We are in the process of converting the Off-Grid Site to commercial power and have completed the installation of the Next Generation (NG) Fixed-Wireless platform. The Off-Grid site, powered by solar and propane, was very challenging to maintain. We appreciate everyone's patience over the years. Special thanks to our customers in the area. The power and equipment upgrades will allow us to provide your homes with faster, more reliable service.

Lewis County residents can qualify for FREE Installation and Internet Access through a partnership with Hudson Valley Wireless. Households should qualify for the program if they have a South Lewis Central School student, receive government assistance, or income qualify.

Join Hudson Valley Wireless at the Port Leyden Community Library on Tuesday (March 21st) from 1 PM- 5 PM, and they can verify if your household qualifies for FREE service.

You can also visit them online at hvwisp.com/lewis-county to enroll in the program.

Hudson Valley Wireless is also hiring local installation and service technicians. Visit them at the Port Leyden Community Library on Tuesday (March 21st) or hvwisp.com/jobs to apply. Technicians can earn competitive wages, healthcare, and 401K.
