A Legacy of Service to Country, Customer, and Community

Our CEO, Tracy Solomon, founded TEVET in 2004 after six years of honorably serving our country in the Navy along with another six years at two Fortune 500 companies. In a long line of veterans in his family, Tracy was brought up in an environment where he was taught to honor his commitments to others and to our country, the importance of ser

vice, and the value of ethical business practices. He has channeled these qualities into our company’s mission—a dedication to superior product knowledge, an unbeatable sourcing network, excellence in supply chain management, premier customer service, and a focus on giving back to the community. Since TEVET’s inception in 2004, TEVET’s people and culture have been the key to our success. Our culture starts with an internal family culture that strives to build and support each other and expands in service to our communities and the communities of our customer. TEVET facilitates and encourages employee service to groups and organizations that they are passionate about. At TEVET we serve many families including veterans, children, and even our furry family members.

Today, Tennessee mourns one of its greatest treasures. Dolly Parton showed generations of East Tennesseans what was possible. She proved you could come from humble beginnings, build something extraordinary, achieve success on a global stage and still never forget where you came from.

For Tracy Solomon and TEVET, Dolly’s example has always meant something special. She demonstrated that success brings with it an opportunity, and a responsibility, to lift others along the way. She started at home, investing in children, education and the communities of East Tennessee that shaped her. As her success grew, so did the reach of her generosity, ultimately touching children, families and communities around the world. That example closely reflects what we believe at TEVET.

As a HUBZone company headquartered in East Tennessee, we believe businesses can create opportunity in communities that need it most, and that our responsibility to give back should grow along with our success.

Dolly set an extraordinary example for Tracy, for TEVET and for countless other business and community leaders to follow. Build something that matters. Create opportunities for others. Remember where you came from. And when you succeed, bring others with you. Her music reached the world. Her generosity changed lives around the world. Her example will continue to inspire ours.

Thank you, Dolly, for showing East Tennessee, and the world, what is possible.

Bringing the TEVET mission closer to the people we serve.

While in San Diego for Navy Gold Coast, TEVET Founder and CEO Tracy Solomon and members of the TEVET team had the opportunity to visit the USS Greeneville (SSN-772), a Los Angeles-class nuclear-powered attack submarine. The team was joined by industry partners from SAIC, BAE Systems, Keysight Technologies and Collins Aerospace.

The visit offered a firsthand look at life aboard the submarine and a deeper appreciation for its mission and the sailors who carry it out. Seeing where our sailors live and work is a powerful reminder of who we serve and why our work matters.

The USS Greeneville also holds a special place in TEVET’s story. Our company was founded and remains headquartered in Greeneville, Tennessee, the community whose name this submarine proudly carries around the world.

We are grateful to the officers and crew for welcoming us aboard, and to Dale Long, Greeneville’s longtime ambassador to the boat, for helping make this experience possible. To every sailor who serves or has served aboard the USS Greeneville, and to the families who sacrifice alongside them, thank you.

Serve and Honor the Warfighter.

The electronics supply chain remains unpredictable, and for many manufacturers, lead times for critical electronic components are still extended, and in some cases increasing.

What's driving the shortage?
Demand for semiconductors continues to outpace available manufacturing capacity, driven in part by the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure and data centers. While manufacturers are investing in new production facilities, it takes years for new capacity to come online.

At TEVET, we're working closely with our OEM partners to monitor component availability, communicate changing lead times and identify alternative solutions whenever possible.

If your upcoming projects rely on Test & Measurement equipment, waiting to order will mean delayed delivery, increasing the risk of missing your required dock dates. Our recommendation: Start the conversation now. Proactive planning will reduce your supply chain risk and give your team more flexibility to secure inventory for a successful 2026 year end.

Today marks TEVET's 22nd anniversary of serving those who serve.

In 2004, Navy veteran Tracy Solomon founded TEVET with a simple promise: Do right by the Warfighter, the customer and the community. More than two decades later, that promise continues to guide everything TEVET does.

Thank you to every employee, customer, vendor and partner who has been part of the TEVET story. Here's to continuing our mission!

The strength of the F-35 program extends well beyond the aircraft itself. It's built on collaboration across government, industry and the supplier community.

TEVET is proud to support the aerospace and defense industrial base, and our CEO, Tracy Solomon, is looking forward to participating in this week's F-35 Supplier Town Hall to discuss recent developments and connect with fellow suppliers committed to advancing this critical program.

The continued expansion of the global F-35 supply chain, including recent milestones like Finland beginning forward fuselage production, highlights the long-term collaboration and investment that keep the program strong. It's another example of how industry partners around the world continue to support the long-term success of the F-35 program.
