This gorgeous ground-mounted solar array in Conway is looking right at home among the rolling hills and beautiful landscapes of Western Massachusetts.

Another beautiful project, thoughtfully designed and built by our local, worker-owned crew.

Good things take time. Good energy lasts.

The dog days of summer may be behind us, but the pets we met along the way deserve one more moment in the sunshine.

One of the unexpected perks of working in solar? The enthusiastic welcome committees to curious onlookers and the occasional furry project manager, these little encounters are some of our favorite parts of the job!

OCTOBER IS COOP MONTH!

What does it actually mean when we say PV Squared is 100% worker-owned?
It means more than employees owning shares in the company.

For Co-op Month, we're taking a closer look at all seven principles and what each one looks like in practice at PV Squared.

Because worker ownership isn't simply a business structure attached to our name. It's something we practice every day.

What happens when affordable housing and clean energy come together?

For the latest installment of our Powered by the Sun, United by Purpose series, we sat down with our longtime partners at Rural Development Inc. (RDI) to talk about solar, sustainability, affordable housing, and building stronger communities across Western Massachusetts.

Our work with RDI reflects something we believe deeply: a solar project can do more than generate electricity. It can become part of the long-term infrastructure supporting the people and communities beneath it.

And when you're building homes meant to serve people for decades, relationships matter too.

Hear directly from RDI about why they chose solar, what they value in a local partner, and why who you build with matters.

A beautiful sky over Springfield, and another freshly installed solar array for Clinical & Support Options.

We’re especially proud when one project becomes part of a larger relationship.

CSO does deeply important work supporting individuals and families throughout Western Massachusetts, and now another one of the spaces helping carry out that mission is putting its rooftop to work, too.

For organizations with multiple locations, solar can become more than a single project. It can be part of a long-term strategy for managing energy costs, strengthening operations, and investing in the communities they serve.

Good work happening under the roof. Clean energy being generated above it.
We’re grateful to keep building with CSO!

Another Western Mass rooftop putting the sunshine to work!
This freshly finished residential array in Buckland is officially ready for years of clean, locally generated electricity.

From village centers to winding back roads and homes tucked into the hills, we love seeing solar become part of the landscape here in Western Massachusetts.

One home at a time, these systems add up to something much bigger: more energy generated close to where it’s used, more resilient communities, and a cleaner regional energy future.

Built by owners. Built to last.

Looking forward to putting a little cooperative muscle behind cleaner rivers!

This weekend, Team PV Squared will be out in our hometown of Greenfield lending some hands to the 30th annual Source to Sea Cleanup!

For three decades, volunteers have been showing up across the Connecticut River watershed to haul trash out of our rivers, streams, riverbanks, and communities, helping protect the places we all share.

This kind of work feels pretty close to the heart of who we are.

Being a local, worker-owned cooperative means caring about more than the work we do on rooftops. It means showing up for the place we call home, alongside neighbors and organizations doing the work to keep Western Massachusetts healthy, beautiful, and resilient.

Thirty years of people rolling up their sleeves for cleaner water is absolutely worth celebrating.

Thanks to the Connecticut River Conservancy and all the volunteers getting their hands dirty for our watershed. We are happy to lend ours!
