When we learned that the now defunct green recycling bins were not recyclable themselves (ironic right?!), we set out to see if there was some cool use for them...and sure enough! Stay tuned next spring for a fresh take on the downtown flower "barrels" from Blooming Greenfield 🌷 Shout out to Tom Deerfield Cabinets and Millwork for the awesome, integrative designs 🙌🏻 and BIG thanks to the City of Greenfield for working with us to create the Parking Benefit District, to make beatification projects like this one a reality!

One thing you may not know about the GBA - while we are zeroed in on business success and growth in Greenfield, that work actually takes us all over the Valley. And our Executive Director, Hannah Rechtschaffen, LOVES working and talking with colleagues throughout the region...well, if you've met her you probably knew that! 😎 Which is why we're thrilled to announce that she has been selected to participate in the 2026-2027 LEADS Massachusetts Fellowship, bringing together a remarkable cohort of business and community leaders across the Valley (many pictured here) to work towards real, lasting change by cultivating a broader systems approach. Working with faculty from Harvard Business School and other inspiring leaders, as well as one another, there is important work ahead, and we're excited to be a part of it! Did you know that Greenfield Farmers Co-op sells bee keeping equipment year round?! Debbie can get you set up with everything you need to get started. It was a perfect weekend to walk some art in Greenfield! Shout out to all the MA250 mural artists nguyen ly schmitz fine art Althea Keaton Danielle Lucier and Jill Strait and for putting together this insightful walking tour during the Greenfield Arts Walk. We were honored to be invited to co-lead this great event, and appreciate the 33 people that showed up to great more from the artists and enjoy a lovely night downtown!
